Written and directed by Stephen Merchant (who also has a small role in the film), Fighting with My Family stars Florence Pugh as Paige, a young Englishwoman who makes a living fighting with her brother Zak (Jack Lowden), mother Julia (Lena) Headey), and reformed gangster father Ricky (Nick Frost) in smaller places. However, everything changes when Paige and Zak are offered an opportunity to try for WWE, something that challenges their relationship in new and unexpected ways, while the two try to realize their superstar dreams in wrestling.
Written and directed by Stephen Merchant and based on a true story, Fighting With My Family follows reformed gangster Ricky Knight (Nick Frost), his wife Julia (Lena Headey), his daughter Raya “Paige” Knight
(Florence Pugh) and his son Zak (Jack Lowden) while they make a living fighting together in tiny places.
When Paige and Zak have the opportunity to try out for WWE, the family takes the unique opportunity in life to turn their wildest dreams into a dazzling future. The duo of once close brother and sister, begins to separate as Zak becomes jealous and threatened when her sister has the opportunity to fight and get on stage when it is something he works for all his life.
